From The More Good Foundation:
The More Good Foundation has begun a program to award prizes to LDS bloggers. Each week or two we’ll select a topic to write about. Any blogger that writes about that topic on their own blog and links to the page we’ve selected will be entered in a drawing for a prize. This week the raffle prize will be a copy of LDS Library 2006 worth $85. For more information see http://prizes.moregoodfoundation.org.
I really like the idea, not because of the prizes (I’m the sort of person who couldn’t care less about prizes), but because constraints (a set topic in this case) are great for inspiring creativity. It’ll be a nice exercise/challenge/adventure/fill-in-the-blank. And, like they say, it does some good.
This week’s topic is What Mormons Believe, and one of the requirements is that you link to the What Do Mormons Believe? page from the Las Vegas Temple website. I’ll write my post soon, but I do have two tests this week which’ll probably devour most of my time. Merciless beasts, they are. And yet I actually like taking tests. But that’s a topic for another post… :)
