I'm debating whether or not I should; it'd be nice to know what's already been written, but at the same time I don't want to subconsciously borrow too much from Stewart or Milton or anyone else. Hmm... As for the progress of the novel, I haven't started writing it yet (too many projects! :)); it's just been percolating on the back burner. Soon, though... I checked The Brothers out but haven’t started reading it yet. It begins with the war in full swing. I think exploring the slow progression from Son of the Morning to the Father of all Lies would be interesting. The first of Chris Stewart's fairly new "The Great and Terrible" novel series tells a similar story.
