Canon PowerShot S2 IS

This Flickr thing has got me hooked. :) I’ve been doing some research on digital cameras, and I think I’m going to get a Canon PowerShot S2 IS. (See more reviews at DigitalCamera-HQ.com and Amazon.) Everything I’ve read looks good — lots of very positive reviews — and it has the features I’m looking for: high optical zoom (12x), image stabilization, AA batteries, and manual focus. It’s 5 megapixels, which isn’t as high as I’d like, but it’s good enough. And it’s only around $325. It gives the most bang for the buck, especially considering that I’m a wannabe photographer who would love to get a nice juicy digital SLR but doesn’t have the money. :)
