This postRemember how I mentioned a little while ago about a crazy idea to start a web magazine? I’m still planning on it, and one of the things I’ll do (both for it and for this blog) is start interviewing people. There’s a lot of interesting work being done in a wide variety of fields, and one of the best ways to find out about it is to poke around. In my list of people to talk to (and of course there’ll be many who won’t be interested, but some will), I have artists, writers, publishers, songwriters, and scientists, and I intend to hunt around through faculty listings at various universities to see which professors have interesting research projects going on. I don’t intend to limit this to “professionals” either; anyone who’s doing something interesting is fair game.
So, if you have any suggestions, leave a comment with your nominee’s name and perhaps a short sentence or paragraph on why they’d be interesting (i.e., what they’ve done or are doing).
