I got an e-mail today saying I was accepted as a beta tester for the latest FamilySearch beta, so I went ahead and signed up, and when I logged in I found this:

FamilySearch

Seeing the “find wife” part made me giddy with excitement. And guess what? When I clicked on it, it found a wife for me! I scarcely dared believe it, but a name materialized on the next screen, complete with her pedigree. I’m probably not supposed to say much more than this about her, but I can’t help mentioning that one of her lines goes back to the City of Enoch. (The address was pretty weird.) Let’s just hope that she’s found me too, so it won’t be awkward when I show up on her doorstep with a printout of our combined pedigree in hand.

:P

Ben, this is officially the best thing I’ve heard all week.

Wow, Ben. Could you hook me up, too?

Liz: Glad to hear it. ;)

Amy: http://beta.familysearch.org is the site for you — hopefully you’ll be as lucky as I was. ;)
