It started sending messages to all my friends so i logged out of facebook, changed my password, cleared cookies etc. Then I logged onto facebook on my mac but the messages kept sending. I realized they would send whenever I logged into facebook. So I deactivated my account for a week and now I'm afraid to reactivate it just in case it sends the link to all my friends the second i log on. HELP! Julieta: I don't think there's anything you can download that'll get rid of it. It's hard to tell if it's a concerted effort from a single source or a bunch of copycats all giddily imitating each other's successes. Whatever the case, it's one heck of a nuisance. I recently clicked on the link myself and had this problem (luckily my anti-virus scanner picked it up). I deactivated my account immediately thinking it was a virus from the normal facebook usage but it in fact was that url. I would surely advise that whoever used this or saw this change their password. Thank you so much for posting this! Though I <i>do</i> have a friend who came across my testimony on my website, started to investigate, got baptized and then married in the temple, and has been a strong member for six or seven years now.
