Often burning secrets

Categories: Books, Random

At the moment I feel like something Death hacked to bits with his scythe and then kicked through the streets. Nasty cough (the feds could land me in the clinker as a weapon of biological warfare at the moment), more congestion than New York City, head on the blacksmith’s anvil, all that fun stuff. After spending most of the day at work (I am a slave of duty :P), I came home and tried desperately to fall asleep, but somehow that blessed rest eluded me. So I started reading Enna Burning, hoping I’d just doze off a few chapters in. Four hours later I finished the book. I loved it, but reading it was…hmm, let’s just say that in my cracked-glass physical state, it amplified certain features of my condition. (I’m trying to avoid spoilers. :)) But I really did like it.

Anyway, I’m hoping I get better soon. But if not, maybe I’ll start (and probably finish :)) River Secrets tomorrow. There’s a silver lining to every cloud…

But just in case some angel is listening, I would prefer to get better instead, thank you very much. :)
