					<description>Katherine: Thanks.  Apparently in the bookbinding class they don't use wood (for cost reasons, I think), but the teacher said you can use anything you can drill holes in.  People have used plexiglass, steel, you name it.

					<description>Nice work. I like the wood cover--I want to try that with one of mine.

Coptic's not my favorite either, but it's relatively quick to do and, as you said, nice when you want the book to lie flat.</description>
